First of all, thank you to everyone who came out to support the convention. The huge amount of donors and participants made this the huge success that it was.
To report: Together we raised $3724.12, all of which was donated to SafePlace.
75 people signed in on our attendance sheet. There were a few people we didn’t note, so attendance was probably around 80-90.
Our original goal was 150 people, so that attendance would bring in $3000. Despite attendance being lower than planned, so many people bid very generously on our silent auction bundles, and that propelled us past our goal.
Thank you for your generosity. We were stunned by the charity everyone showed. Both of us are so grateful, and it’s not just us who are grateful. Several families are going to get out of hard times thanks to your giving.
We’re coming back next year, and we’ll raise our goal. We’re confident that we’ll hit it again, with your help.
